I wanted to share a few previews of a yoga editorial shoot i did with model and yoga instructor Krystina Holbrook. The full story will hopefully be released soon.

Shooting a yoga editorial has been on the top of my list for quite a while. Yoga is a great passion of mine and i try to practice daily. I have shot a few yoga campaigns and lookbooks in the past but never a yoga editorial. I have had a few scheduled over the last year and a half and at that time i guess it just was not meant to be because it got cancelled two times back to back. But finally in July the opportunity presented itself again.

I decided i wanted to shoot this story on film so it was shot on medium format film. It was minimalistic, mostly shot as nudes with backlighting to create crisp lines to show off Krystina’s amazing form and yoga postures.

I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and look forward to sharing the main images. This was one of those projects as a photographer that I can say i truly shot for myself and it was nice to feel that passion for photography again after so many months of doing nothing much at all with the pandemic.
